ODI WC 2023 Match Officials: Less than a month is left for the ICC ODI World Cup to start in India. This mega event will start from 5th October in Ahmedabad. Narendra Modi Will be from the stadium. And the final match will be played on this ground on 19th November. For the first time, India is organizing the entire ODI World Cup alone. ICC has also announced the names of 20 match officials for this tournament.
The names of match officials have been announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) only for the league stage matches. At the same time, the names of the match referee and umpires will be announced later for the semi-final and final match. The names of 16 umpires and 4 match referees are included in the 20 match officials issued by the ICC. Of this, 12 umpires are from the ICC Elite Panel while 4 are part of the ICC Emerging Umpires Panel.

Match officials of the first match of ODI World 2023
Along with announcing the names of the match officials for the World Cup 2023, the ICC has announced the names of the match officials for the first match to be played between England and New Zealand on 5 October. Nitin Menon and Kumar Dharmasena will act as on-field umpires in this match. While Paul Wilson will be the third umpire while Sharfuddaula will be the fourth umpire. Andy Pycroft will be the referee in this match.
